3-D printer for roads repair
Designers and engineers from three Danish companies joined together to create a self-contained 3D printer. Initiated by Break the Grid, the authors figured out three types of printers for repairing and maintaining infrastructure: six-legged cars will repair roads, flying cars will warm old houses, and floating ones will save the coasts.
The road repair robot will not only detect cracks andpotholes, but also seal them with a revolutionary mortar; besides concrete it includes spores that turn into calcium mold, so it means that the patches will return to shape by themselves.
